Blogs are so effective because it is easier to create and access information from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. Before I buy a product that i never used before (i.e. video game) I check the consumer blogs to see what people have to say about it. In my opinion, the blogs will give you a much better idea of how the products work because people will tell you exactly how they feel about the product. With that being said, you also have be careful with some of the blogs. The blogs are can include biased or inaccurate information it all depends on who host the blog. Our blog is called "Olives on My Pizza", this title is very misleading because the title has nothing to do with the blog, the blog is actually a class blog for Introduction to New Media/Participatory Media. This is my first time using a blogging site but maybe after completing this course i will be able to contribute to other blogs or even host a blog of my own.
