I really enjoyed listening to the TED talk on technology. He had mentioned toward the end of his presentation that people are truly aware that they are living life against the law in terms of piracy, and illegal activity on the internet. It definitely struck a chord how prevalent this was, and how like never before people are ok with and continuing to make offenses against the law, probably because they do not see any alternatives, and for the most part able to get away with it. It also makes one think that people are conditioning themselves to taking laws more lightly than ever before. This has implications for law-breaking on a much greater scale, and is demonstrative of people's growing lack of respect for the law in more ways than petty offenses.
